One of the major advantages of Trerose is that you can go for a walk without having to get in your car first!

Indeed, some of the finest scenery in the whole of the UK is right on our doorstep.

A favourite expedition amongst our guests is to take the footpath along to Helford Passage, pick up the foot ferry over to Helford Village and then either walk along the south bank of the river.

Alternatively follow the path up to Manaccan village, where you can enjoy refreshments at the delightful South Cafe.

Alternatively you can take the King Harry Ferry over to the Roseland Peninsula, take a gentle stroll down to the pretty church at St. Just in Roseland and indulge yourself with lunch in St Mawes.

In fact, there are so many walks and such scenic variety that this is truly a walkers’ paradise!

Alternatively you can take the coastal path towards Falmouth calling in at either the Maenporth or Swanpool beach cafés [not always open in winter].

For those wishing to venture further afield there are spectacular coastal walks on the Lizard Peninsula where you can also pick up a delicious crab sandwich or treat yourself to the best pasties in Cornwall!

If you enjoy rugged scenery, the North Coast is not to be missed and again you can drop off at the Tinners Arms in Zennor or the Godrevy Cafe near St Ives.
